So, If you have been disappointed with the stock ranges on your new Nerf Alpha Trooper, here’s one of the easiest ways to fix it.
First, as always, you need to take your blaster apart, which is fairly simple.
Once you get inside, this is what it should look like:
Now, you need to locate and remove the bolt sled assembly, as shown here:
And that’s all there is to it! You may want to pad the plunger tube, so it doesn’t break, and whatever you do, don’t dry fire it! If you dry fire it the back of the plunger tube may break, ruining your blaster unless you happen to have a replacement. Have fun!
*If you are having trouble cocking it after you put your Alpha Trooper back together, you may want to take out this lock that is not necessary for the blaster to function correctly. It is held in place by that silver screw.
