Nerf Alpha trooper Mod Guide

So, If you have been disappointed with the stock ranges on your new Nerf Alpha Trooper, here’s one of the easiest ways to fix it.

First, as always, you need to take your blaster apart, which is fairly simple.

Once you get inside, this is what it should look like:

Now, you need to locate and remove the bolt sled assembly, as shown here:

Once you have this, you need to slide the plunger tube off the back and using a 1/2 inch spade drill bit, drill out the inside of the barrel, so it looks like this:

There’s just one thing left now to get optimal ranges.

See that hole in the side of the barrel? All you need to do is get some duct tape and seal it shut.

And that’s all there is to it! You may want to pad the plunger tube, so it doesn’t break, and whatever you do, don’t dry fire it! If you dry fire it the back of the plunger tube may break, ruining your blaster unless you happen to have a replacement. Have fun!

*If you are having trouble cocking it after you put your Alpha Trooper back together, you may want to take out this lock that is not necessary for the blaster to function correctly. It is held in place by that silver screw.
