Photon Storm Blaster Review

The Photon Storm features two spinning flywheels to launch the streamline like darts out of its 12 dart clip. This blaster will use any of the n-strike clips, but you must force the clip into the gun much harder than with its stock magazine. The Photon Storm resembles the M4 carbine assault rifle , and has a small tactical rail on the top of the blaster for its very ineffective scope ( the scope is about as useless as a paper towel roll mounted on your gun) Just the feel of this blaster without even seeing the label tells you its not “NERF” because of the weaker plastic, rougher trigger pull and the “barricade filled with nails” sound it makes once turned on. Its average range is anywhere between 25 and 30 feet. This blaster fires semi-automatic and is roughly the same size as the Nerf Recon CS-6. I recommend you pick up this blaster if the Stampede is just a little too pricey for a nerf gun. Keep in mind you’ll be sacrificing the proven reliability of “NERF” brand blasters but not really giving up too much performance. This blaster is available  for around $35.99. But the price all depends on where you buy it. Requires 5x AAA batteries.

  1. in some cases the shipping and handling costs shoot the price up to $70.00, since this blaster is not available in the U.S. or Canada. But in my case I purchased this blaster for $45.99 shipping and handling costs included.
